Sharks Re-Sign Thomas Bordeleau

The Sharks’ last remaining restricted free agent from this offseason, forward Thomas Bordeleau, has been signed to a new one-year, two-way contract worth $874,125.

Bordeleau is a skilled young forward with high upside and star potential, especially on offense, that has yet to be fully realized at the NHL level. He will also be competing for a roster spot and more of a full-time role in the NHL with the Sharks heading into the 2024-25 season. During the 2023-24 season, Bordeleau scored six goals and five assists for 11 points in 27 games. He also finished fifth on the Sharks in power play goals with four and has 11 goals and 14 assists for 25 points in 35 AHL games with the Barracuda last season.

Overall, I have always thought highly of Thomas Bordeleau, and I hope he gets more opportunities this coming season to elevate his game in the NHL if and when the opportunity arises.
