My 2023-24 NHL Regular Season Standings Predictions

The preseason is coming to a close, and the start of the 2023-24 NHL regular season is only a few days away, so that can only mean one thing: time for my annual standings predictions! As per usual, I will give my regular-season standings predictions for every NHL division based on how I objectively see and feel about every NHL team heading into the new season. Compared to last season, I anticipate that some teams will bounce back and take the next step, while others will drop off. In addition, there are always at least a few surprises every season due to the general nature of the NHL, so I expect some of these predictions to be wrong at the end of the season. At the end of the day, these are just for fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously. Can't wait to see what's in store for the new NHL season!

Without further ado, let's begin:

1) Toronto Maple Leafs
