Sharks Sign Nathan Todd

The latest addition to the Sharks organization is forward Nathan Todd, who was signed this morning on a two-year, two-way deal.

This is another minor signing for Team Teal to bolster the Barracuda's roster at the very least. He could also be a potential option as a fourth-line center for the Sharks as well.

Nathan Todd registered eight goals and six assists for 14 points in 16 games for the Springfield Thunderbirds of the AHL this past season. He also had the eighth-highest scoring pace on the Thunderbirds with 0.88 points per game.

In total, Todd has accumulated 31 goals and 39 assists for 70 points and a plus-15 rating in 128 career AHL games split between Springfield, the Manitoba Moose, Belleville Senators, and Binghamton Senators. He helped the Thunderbirds get to the Calder Cup Final in 2022 and was named to the AHL Canadian Division All-Star Team in 2020-21.

In addition, the Sharks will be holding their annual Prospect Scrimmage on July 6 at TechCU Arena. This event will showcase a mix of Barracuda players, selections from recent NHL Drafts, and players who appeared for the Sharks last season that are competing for roster spots this coming season.

Stay tuned to CPF Hockey for more Sharks news and notes all offseason long. Happy 4th of July to all our American viewers!
