Welcome!

Hello and welcome to CPF Hockey! My name is Carson, and you may know me from another blog known as Carson's Car Pics, where I feature photos I have taken of amazing cars and provide information and my commentary on those vehicles. My biggest passion outside of cars is sports, and the sport I have become the most passionate about is hockey. This new blog of mine will mainly cover my favorite team in the NHL, the San Jose Sharks, along with my personal experiences involving the Sharks, other NHL teams, and the NHL as a whole.

I started this new blog because I am a diehard San Jose Sharks fan, and I feel like this team doesn't receive enough love and attention outside of the Sharks fanbase and hockey fans in general, which is unfortunate if you ask me. Also, the Bay Area isn't a traditional hockey market, and I don't feel like I have enough people in my life to discuss the Sharks with without annoying the crap out of them, especially face-to-face. I want to use CPF Hockey to reach out to as many Sharks fans, hockey fans, and people new to the Sharks and/or hockey as possible, and expand the Sharks' media presence and share my unique point of view as a Sharks fan and general hockey fan. In addition, I have taken this avenue to discuss the Sharks as I am not very good at and feel uncomfortable speaking in front of a camera.

Lastly, I may not be able to publish Sharks news headline or game discussion posts as soon as they happen because I have other responsibilities outside of being a Sharks/hockey fan, such as college and my car blog. If I add any photos to my posts, they will be ones I took myself or taken of me. Thank you for viewing and following CPF Hockey, and I look forward to sharing content about the Sharks and my hockey experiences very soon.

Photos below are from my most recent visit to SAP Center, a.k.a. the Shark Tank, in July of 2019.
